An unsupported specification is a product specification that has been deactivated by the Smartspec platform.
As a platform, Smartspec doesn't remove old/unsupported product specifications from your older projects so as to retain an accurate record of the contents of your projects at all times.
However, this means that if you were to create a new project by duplicating an older project, it is possible that some of the product specifications in that project have been removed from the platform - usually at the request of the manufacturer; this may be because the product is no longer manufactured or the manufacturer themselves may no longer be a part of the Smartspec platform.
We now have the functionality to allow you swap these old/unsupported specifications and they will identified in your project via a red exclamation mark.
and via a warning box at the top of your project dashboard like so.
You can read how to swap these unsupported specifications in more detail here
